Øyunn is outspoken and in your face alternative pop/hip hop/indie. She plays drums and sings - airy in one moment, whaling in the next and rapping in the third. Together with her band on synths and bass, she gives an honest and energetic performance, full of laidback & explosive grooves and characteristic & beautiful sounds. Inspired by all kinds of relationships, friendships and the current emotional state, she writes personal and direct lyrics and music. Hope, realness, inspiration, anger and love in a catchy and quirky wrapping.

Her characteristic and eclectic music has been used in stage performances at venues such as The Royal Theatre in Copenhagen, The National Theatre and Dansens Hus in Oslo. In the fall 2022 she made the concert/film/performance “Aspects” for Ultima Festival. Ø played the character Rosa in her search for connection and independence, as well as composing+performing the music and producing the piece. As a a drummer she has toured and recorded extensively with Efterklang and Bugge Wesseltoft as well as done collaborations with numerous acts such as Sam Gendel, Troels Abrahamsen (Veto) and Agnes Obel.
