Efterklang is a Danish band based in Lisbon and Copenhagen.

The band consists of the 3 childhood friends Mads Brauer, Casper Clausen & Rasmus Stolberg.

Marking the group’s return seven years after their last studio release – a period of transition, of high adventures and creative questing – Efterklang’s fifth album Altid Sammen is their finest yet.

The live band, consists of Øyunn on drums and vocals, Lithuanian kankles player and singer Indrė Jurgelevičiūtė, Belgian guitarist Bert Cools and Danish synth player and pianist Christian Balvig or Simon Toldam. On the video above, and some concerts, Belgian baroque ensemble B.O.X. is featured.

New Conception of Jazz

New Conception of Jazz has as become a concept in itself within the electronic jazz scene. After 400 concerts worldwide and recordings by New Conception of Jazz (1996) and Moving (2001), the band took a break in 2006.  Ten years after Bugge Wesseltoft now breathes new life into the project again, this time with a new generation of jazz musicians. It’s danceable, groovy and electric!

BAYA is the alias of Andrew Murray, guitarist, vocalist and producer. BAYA live includes Siv Øyunn Kjenstad on drums, Christian Balvig on synths, Markus Anskau on bass, pulsating masks and animation visuals projected on huge white balloons.  The result is an up-beat performance, edgy, a bit avant gard, well arranged and danceable.

This dynamic trio was formed in 2014. The improvised music this trio creates with acoustic sound sources and electronic treatment varies from piercing to soothing, from noisy to melodic. Intense and beautiful!

Christian Balvig 6-tet

A unique combination of string trio and piano trio. They mix chamber music landscapes from the north with energetic improvisations. All of the six players has a personal sound and approach to Balvig's lyrical compositions. When they play It becomes a clear coherent band sound making touching and beautiful music. The tunes are orchestrated with well balanced strings in a both intimate and expressive piano trio with references to Joanna Newsoms Ys, Scandinavian jazz and impressionistic music.
